सर, मैं आपकी विचारों से सहमत हूँ। हिंदी के पतन में हमारी बदलती सोच का बहुत बार हाथ है। एक उदहारण- कक्षा ८ के बाद हिंदी और संस्कृत में से एक चुनने का मौका मिलता है और ज्यादातर लोग संस्कृत इस लिए लेते है क्योंकि संस्कृत में हिंदी की अपेक्षा ज्यादा अंक आते है। मैं मानता हूँ की इसमें मेरे साथ साथ गलती मेरे अभिभावकों की भी है क्योंकि उन्होंने मुझे हिंदी का महत्व बताया ही नहीं। सरकार की भी गलती है जिसने इंग्लिश को अनिवार्य विषय रखा और हिंदी को एच्क्षिक.

well said.......but there's definitely a way out of this.What we need to do is promote hindi literature n stuff.I mean guys like gajendra solanki n kumar vishwas are sweet hearts of many.The time has come 2 take the initiative and what better place than our own college....:-):-)

बहूत खूब लिखें हैं सर जी!! आज हिन्दी की जो दशा है उसके लिए हम ही दोषी हैं | ज़्यादातर लोग सोचते हैं की हम अँग्रेज़ी का विरोध करके हिन्दी को बढ़ावा दे रहे हैं परंतु हमें हिन्दी का प्रचार करना पड़ेगा एवं यह सुनिश्चित करना होगा की लोग हिन्दी को अपनी मातृभाषा समझे एवं उसे उसका स्थान दिलायें|

This comes as one of the most touching of the articles that i have read for a long time..Until a nation's national language develops it can progress..Countries like China,Japan stand out simply because of the respect for their language..its high time that we do something( I know its a pity that me commenting in English on such a wonderful article on the importance of Hindi,sorry for it but its just that slowly Hindi is being lost somewhere)

Shastri,who epitomised honesty and sincerity in public life has been totally forgotten.In this phase in our nations where corruption,criminilisation and power brokering dominates politics,it would do good to remember this man and try to follow his principles and emulate his life.

One of the greatest ironies is the fact that the entire nation celebrates Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday but not a single public function, newsreport or television programme is conducted to remember this great man,our country's second prime ministry.

Shastriji was a man whose criticism and weak points are hard to find. A robust leader that any country would crave for,his modest and honest persona should have been a beacon for the masters of parliament. Alas! it was lost.

I would place him, in my parameters, above than Gandhi for he had a unique clarity of ideas and indomitable spirit of National pride.

I always believed Austerity and Strongness of Character and other alike properties are complementary to each other. People like Shastri tend to strengthen my belief.

But whether he was Gandhi's Avatar, I always find this analogy strange, He was completely a different man. Not that I don't respect Gandhi, but may be Shastri followed a more practical kind of politics.

Facts about Nehru and Mrs. Gandhi, displaying what they were, were nice and interesting.

As you said, shastri is another Gandhi Mahatma. He is one of the greatest PMs we had. But he is often overlooked by Congress and therefore by the Nation mostly because he is not from Gandhi family. Neither Shastri nor other great leaders like Sardar Vallabhai Patel are remembered because of selfish reasons of duplicate Gandhis. Not even a small photo of Patel or Shastri appear on congress posters. But we see the whole Gandhi family - Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, rahul gandhi photos on congress party posters. That itself tell us why the present generation doesnt know much about a great person like Shastri

Shastri is a man of masses and he is known for his austerity and strong decisions. He will be known for his popular slogan "Jai Jawan Jai Kisan". I know few more interesting facts about shastri and incidents in his life. I will share them through a post.

As pointed out, the political implications of the verdict are going to be huge. Hence, the anxiety among political parties.

If our sickular media displays some restraint, i am sure post verdict situation will be peaceful to a large extent. But sadly, those idiots are already out there enacting a real life Peepli Live at Ayodhya(or in media's langauge 'Ground Zero')

1) was there a temple before babar
2) whom the disputed land belongs to now

it's funny how a purely academic matter that first point is has come under judicial matters.

If any party in the case takes offence in the verdict, it'll only strengthen my notion that our nation is not standing on the principle of 'satyameva jayate'. By denying to acknowledge the truth of the history sickularists have become responsible for immaturity of our society. Can anyone say: don't insult hitler, it'll hurt Germans? greatness of Germans lies in the fact that they respect truth. Forgive - but never forget - history.

my opinion on second point is: if land in ayodhya is given to hindu parties then sites of every other muslim architecture in India can be demanded for. so court should not set this precedent.
